We will be one of four Japanese startups giving a pitch presentation at the 'Tokyo-Thailand Business Connecting 2024: Co-creation for Sustainability and Productivity Improvement,' co-hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center and the Department of Industrial Labor Protection, Ministry of Industry, Thailand.

Thailand is one of the world's leading agricultural nations, with agricultural workers accounting for approximately 10% of its GDP. On the other hand, Japan has one of the lowest food self-sufficiency rates among developed countries, at just under 40% on a calorie basis, making Thailand an important partner. In recent years, issues such as an aging population, labor shortages, and declining yields due to climate change have diversified. In this context, it is crucial to achieve both productivity improvement and sustainability throughout the entire supply chain, from production to distribution and consumption. This event aims to introduce the initiatives of Japanese and Thai startups that contribute to solving these issues and to promote stronger collaboration between Japanese and Thai companies.
